Letter From the President, March 2024

Thank you for visiting our new web site. It is my great honor and privilege to serve as President of the Exchange Club of Missouri City. Our board, leadership team and members include some of the best, brightest and most wonderful people I have ever met. They give of their time, talents and treasure to serve this community. 

If you're not a member, just a few words about our club. We serve many different organizations in the area including Child Advocates of Ft. Bend, Behind the Badge, Bethel Ministries Christmas Gift Program, The ARC of Ft. Bend, The Sanctuary Foster Care,  Scholarships for local high school students, and many others. As you will see, we have many fundraiser events and lots of fun doing them. Our biggest is the St. Patty's Day Golf Scramble. Second is our Fist Full of Dollars Country Western Dance in the fall. Both are filled with great food, great fun, and live and silent auctions where we raise money for the community.

For our current members, I'm very excited to see how much we can raise at the golf tournament next week. Your hard work and dedication to the success of this organization is greatly appreciated. Not just by me and the rest of the board and leadership team, but by those who benefit from the funds that we raise. In our most recent luncheon, our acting National President, Mike Reichek reminded us that there is always way more need in the community than we can possibly serve. So the more we can raise, the more of these needs we can help to meet. And the more needs we meet the better for us all.

I look forward to keep working with all of you, united behind a single purpose, to make Missouri City and the surrounding area a much better place to live.
