Each year now for the past 40 plus years the Missouri City Exchange Club members have planted over 5,000 American Flags each July 4th for residents surrounding the Quail Valley Golf Community. A tradition started a few years prior to the Missouri City Exchange Club becoming a club.

The 2021 July 4th Flag Planting effort was led by Bill Wright. Exchange club members and volunteers met at 6:00 am in the club house for breakfast tacos then loaded up into golf carts with boxes of American flags and off to the races!
